Firm Principal, Nick Greer, is qualified as a lawyer (solicitor and barrister), arbitrator, and Chartered Mediator. Nick largely works in non-court resolution of family law matters, but is also very much at home in a court room when court is needed.Nick holds the highest mediation accreditation available at ADRBC, being certified as a Chartered Mediator. Nick is also a Law Society of BC lawyer and accredited Family Mediator (JIBC & ADR Institute of Ontario trained) with additional accreditation in Collaborative Divorce (Seattle Collaborative Law Training), and the Worksafe BC Mediation Roster. Nick has acted in many hundreds of family and civil mediations over the last 15 years, in both Canada and internationally.
Nick trains other mediators privately and through the ADRBC Mediation Mentoring Program, and has presented on mediation in venues such as the Alternative Dispute Resolution BC Symposium 2021, has been a member of the A.L.L. mediation committee, and has lectured classes on mediation at Vancouver Island University.
As a Chartered Mediator and Qualified Arbitrator (through ADRBC), Nick is qualified to conduct domestic and international commercial mediation and arbitration and resolve disputes quickly, amicably, and with lower costs that traditional litigation options.
In his spare time, Nick follows politics and enjoys the outdoors and volunteers heavily at his children’s school.

Kevin Cantelon, LLB

Kevin is an independent lawyer based at the Collaborative Law offices. Kevin has his own business page.
Kevin is a lawyer and Member of BC Law Society called in 2000 and works mainly in family law litigation.
Kevin has many years of successful experience in dealing with court litigation in motor vehicle injury matters, wills and estate, and family law cases.
Kevin also has over 15 years of experience in drafting and reviewing complex legal opinions for individuals, corporate clients, administrative tribunals and the courts.
Kevin is comfortable working with clients who are unfamiliar with litigation to ensure they understand the process and can proceed without undue fear.
He has conducted hundreds of Examinations for Discovery and prepared comprehensive Discovery Reports, appears regularly in the BC Supreme Court and Provincial Courts and has conducted numerous trials including jury trials.
